Mark Dowis is the best  plumber we’ve ever had. He genuinely cares about his customers and is a  wonderful person, a capable problem solver and has 35 years of  experience. He is incredibly responsive and reliable. If he can’t come  out right away, he’ll try to help over the phone. 

We recently remodeled our kitchen and the kitchen contractor’s  so-called plumber botched up the dishwasher installation and left us  with leaks under the sink. Mark came to the rescue and quickly figured  out what was wrong and fixed everything.

Mark is a reasonably priced plumber who you will get to know and love  as we have. Don’t hesitate to call when you need a plumber Nancy A

 5 Stars - "My usual plumber was not  available when I noticed that my water heater was leaking, so I called  my Heating and Air Conditioning man for a referral. He referred Mark and  told me that Mark is the only plumber he would let into his own house. I  was told that Mark was honest, reliable and always did the job the  right way the first time. Perfect! Just what I needed. Mark came out 2  hours after I called him and stayed until 8:00 pm that evening. He had  me pay the plumbing supply directly so that I only paid the wholesale  discounted price (no mark-up), and then charged me an hourly fee to  install. He ended up staying later than his original estimated time but  did not charge me more for the extra time. In fact, he returned the next  day to install another part and again did not charge me. Mark was  fantastic! I can not recommend him highly enough. TEN STARS!!!!!!"

 We're a small company that had a large sewage emergency; all three commodes would not flush!! We found Mark Dowis Plumbing and many others from a quick "plumbers near me" google search. Mark actually answered his phone and was able to squeeze us in despite other service calls on his schedule for THAT day; all other companies that we called couldn't get to us until the next day at the earliest, which is understandable, but Mark just did it!! He arrived at our facility within 30 minutes and had us flushing in just under an hour. He was honest, had very reasonable rates (especially compared to the others that we called), a good guy who got the job done!! He is also a Navy veteran, which is a HUGE plus to me!! " My kitchen sink decide to back up, of course at the end of the day. Haven't had to call a plumber in years, so I wasn't sure who to call.  Decide to use this site, figured my neighbors would be a good source,  I am so glad I did. Found Mark Dowis Plumbing 805-573-5773. Called to  set a time, he was at job but said he would come over right after. I was so impressed with his willingness to get here right away but thought I could manage until morning.  I went ahead and set a time.  his wife Debra followed up with a courtesy appointment confirmation (great customer service). Mark arrived the next morning on time and presented a professional and friendly demeanor. He got to work and tackled the job. got it done within the hour. Yeah! " Our water heater sprung a leak late Sunday night so I called Mark (recommended by many people on Next Door!) Monday morning and was able to come by the same day, gave me a very reasonable estimate and had a new water heater installed within a few hours.  If you need a Plumber, call Mark Dowis!       Fixed our gas fire  pit, knowledgeable and a great guy. Deborah, was not sure if Mark, would  be able to get to us that day- she kept me updated.
